Inspired Stamps Easy Christmas Card

Hello and welcome here!  This is my last post for Inspired Stamps this year!! The Design Team will be back in January with a New Release!  This week the DT could choose what they would like to showcase.  I chose to do one more Christmas card.  It's a fairly quick and easy card to make last minute.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used Fir Trees and Winter Ruth for the front of my card.  I debated about sponging a winter sky with a moon but decided to go with a quick and easy idea.  I added some Stickles and a rhinestone star to finish it off.

Inside:
For the inside I used 1.5" Circle Christmas, quick and easy!

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Fir Trees, Winter Ruth & 1.5" Circle Christmas, CTMH CS-White Daisy, Bazzill Mono Ivy CS, CTMH Ink-New England Ivy & Black, Spellbinders-Decorative Labels 8 & Labels 17, Star Rhinestone, Stickles-Candy Cane, Foam Squares.

Inspired Stamps Christmas Card

Hello and welcome here!  So, when I went to make this week's card fir Inspired Stamps I discovered I made a mistake last week, oops:)  Last week it was suppose to be His Little Ones and a scripture and I had made a Christmas card.  Sooooooo, this week I made a Christmas card, but I used His Little Ones and a scripture!!  Tada, error sort of fixed:)

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used His Little Ones:  Angel, Luke 2:13-14, and Laying Sheep.  I used some different Spellbinders to frame the scripture and finished it off with some pearls around the oval and a rhinestone star.  I coloured the images with Copics and instead of leaving the angel all white, I chose to use a light blue for the robe.

 Inside:
For the inside I used 1.5 inch Circle: Christmas

Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-HLO: Angel, Laying Sheep, Luke 2:13-14 & 1.5" Circle Christmas, PP-BoBunny Powder Mountain Paper, CTMH White Daisy CS, Bazzill blue CS, CTMH Ink-Black, Spellbinders-A2 Filigree Delight & Opulent Ovals, Foam Squares, Pearls, Copics, Star Rhinestone.

Cuttlebug Mania Anything Christmas

Hello and welcome here!  It's time for another Cuttlebug Mania Challenge and since we're so close to Christmas it's an Anything Christmas/New Year's Challenge. This will be the last challenge for this year, we'll continue again in January!

Challenge - Anything Christmas or New Year's
For a chance at winning an awesome prize, link your creation over at Cuttlebug Mania.
Challenge runs for 2 weeks.
Don't forget to let us know how you used your Cuttlebug!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
This stamp by Stampendous is absolutely beautiful, it's called Snowy Postcard, I love the vintage feel of it.  For my card I wanted to dress it up a bit so I cut out the oval image shape using Spellbinders and then matted it and added a bit of a flourish.  I finished it off with a snowflake along the lower right hand edge.

I distressed the edges using Distress Ink Vintage Photo...the image I stamped using Distress Ink Stormy Sky.

I added some glitter to the roof tops and along the fence line, it's difficult to capture it in the photo.

Inside:
Recipe:  Bazzill CS-Mono Typhoon, CTMH White Daisy CS, Stampendous SS-Snowy Postcard, Inkadinkado-Christmas Silhouettes, Distress Inks-Vintage Photo & Stormy Sky, Spellbinders-Petite Ovals Lg., Create-A-Flake 3 & Create-A-Flake 5, Memory Box-Tiffany Frame, Foam Squares, Viva Decor Holo Iridescent Glitter Liner, Martha Stewart Branch Punch.

Cuttlebug Items Used:
Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large Die
Spellbinders Create-A-Flake 3 Die
Spellbinders Create-A-Flake 5 Die
Memory Box Tiffany Frame Die

I hope you can join us for the Anything Christmas or New Year's Challenge!

Top Tip Tuesday Snowflakes Challenge

Hello and welcome here!  Brrrr, we're experiencing a cold spell here in Manitoba and boy is it sure nippy out there especially with the wind chill added to it.  Today the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge is perfect for winter, it's all about Snowflakes...the DT are sharing some great Tips with you as well.

Challenge - Snowflakes
DT Tips

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
A big thanks to Stamp Fairy for supplying the DT with images, I used Molly Winter 2. She's perfect for this challenge because she's holding a snowflake!  I wanted to cut her out to use in the window but because of the string that goes from her hand to the snowflake I almost didn't because it would be too difficult to do.  Then I decided I would replace her string with wire and that would save me trying to cut the string out.

It's difficult to see but I added some clear chunky glitter to the snowflake.  I stamped a tree to go behind Molly and added red Stickles as ornaments.

Inside:

Skin - E0000, E000, E00, R20

Fast, Quick, Fairly Clean and Simple Christmas Cards

Hello and welcome here.  It's a bit of a quiet week for me Design Team wise, but I am feverishly preparing for the annual Craft Show in town.  I thought I would share some of my $1 Christmas cards.  I chose to focus on this type of Christmas card for the Craft Show because people tend to send out lots of cards and are searching for a deal.  As you will see my cards still look classy and interesting for $1 (I think??).  They differ from what I usually make and therefore I can make them for less because I don't add layers with foam squares, use fewer embellishments, and tend to use little or no patterned paper (or I am able to get 6 pieces from a 12x12 sheet).  I watch out for cardstock sales during the year and stock up on reds, greens, and blues. I make 10 of each style (they're easier to count when I'm done, lol), and I also stamp a sentiment on the inside.

Most of the ideas for my cards came from Pinterest...so a big THANKS to you who have shared your cards, you gave me lots of inspiration.  I briefly added what patterned paper, die, embossing folder etc. that I used (part of being able to offer them for $1 is that I don't take the time to write anything down, I can get more done that way).

Card Sizes:  4.25" x 5.5"
Heartfelt Creations Die, BoBunny Powder Mountain Patterned Paper

Memory Box Country Landscape Die, CTMH Wonderland Patterned Paper

Memory Box Birch Trio Die, Imaginisce Colours of Christmas Patterned Paper

Memory Box Snowflake Die, BoBunny Powder Mountain Patterned Paper

Impression Obsession Die, Memory Box Bird, CTMH Aspen Patterned Paper, Tiffany Embossing Folder

BoBunny Silver & Gold Patterned Paper

Memory Box Village Lamp Post Die, Martha Stewart Branch Punch

Memory Box Small Madison Window Die, Recollections Poinsettias

Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Folder, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch

We R Memories Washi Tape 6x6 Sheets

Cuttlebug Heritage Embossing Folder, Memory Box Glowing Candles Die

Cuttlebug Heritage Embossing Folder, Memory Box Glowing Candles Die

This doesn't look like it but there are 189 Christmas cards in the box!!  Some were left over from last year, and I made all the ones I posted above for this year.  I display them in about 4 baskets.

Enjoy,
Deneen
